Stay cool this summer with an airy, lacy top!

This lace top is worked bottom up in the round for the body and worked flat after separating for the armholes. This pattern accommodates sizes XS/S (38” bust) through 4/5XL (62” bust).

Not a fan of sleeveless garments? Lindsay will provide you with tips for modifying the pattern to add cap sleeves!

Select a light worsted yarn made of cotton or a cotton blend to ensure that your top will beat the heat as the temperatures rise. Avoid yarns with fuzziness so that the texture of the lace will really stand out.

Want to play with color? Consider a large yarn cake with thick bands of color that you can separate, a handful of smaller skeins of different colors in the same brand of yarn, or small cupcakes of ombre yarn that match a larger cake with the same ombre.
