Marigold Bucket Bag Class
Class Description:
Multiple techniques combine to make this fun, summer-ready bucket bag. While reinforcing what you already know, we will focus on developing new skills: color combining, consistent tension, edge stitching, cross stitch on crochet, machine and handstitched sewing, and more.

When: Five Sundays: March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 from 10:00AM—12:00PM
Fee: $90 for 5 weeks
Materials
Pattern: Marigold Bucket Bag, by Susan Kennedy (purchase pattern on Ravelry before
class)
Yarn: worsted weight cotton
- 765 yds of main color
- 120 yds each of three coordinated colors for floral design
- 120 yds of green
(We have Cascade Nifty Cotton or Cahlista Sheepjes in store to purchase)
- one 8” round of plastic canvas (can be purchased in store)
- 1/3 yd fabric to line bag (optional)
- 5 yds 1” twill tape (optional)
- sewing thread in coordinating color (optional)
Tools
- Crochet hook: 3.75 mm (size F)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle and sewing needle
- Stitch markers
Prerequisites
Advanced Beginner – Intermediate crochet skills. Basic sewing skills.
*This is NOT a class for those who want to learn to crochet or sew.*

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class. No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event. This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
