Description: Ready to knit your first pair of socks? Take this Intro to Making Socks workshop with Annette and learn easy classic cuff down sock construction.

Class Dates:
Sundays March 23rd, 30th, April 6th 10am-12pm

Course Fee: $65 for six hours of instruction.

Materials:

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn (we suggest Cascade's 220 Superwash Merino or Plymouth Encore
Needles: Size US5 double-pointed needles
Pattern: Provided in class
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle

Techniques Covered:

Stretchy cast on
Heel flap
Turning the heel
Gusset
Instep and toe
Kitchener stitch

Skill Level: Beginner, must know how to knit, purl and do basic increase and decrease (we will not teach you how to knit in this class).

Students receive a 10% discount on materials they purchase for their class from The Knitting Tree, L.A.

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class. No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event. This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
