Description: You’ve mastered the basics on your knitting machine - now it’s time to make a sweater! You’ll use the machine to knit the body and sleeves quickly, and then transfer the stitches to a circular needle to hand knit the yoke (the fun part!). This class will be taught using only the Silver Reed LK150 Knitting Machine Date: Saturday, January 11th, 18th and 25th 10am-12pm Course Fee: $90 for 6 hours of instruction. Skills required: You should already be comfortable casting on and knitting on the machine, along with basic increases and decreases Yarn: You will need a sweater quantity of any yarn that is appropriate for your machine (fingering to worsted is generally the range) Pattern: If you have a pattern in mind, bring it to class, or we will help you choose. Tools: LK 150 knitting machine with all accessories, scissors. |
Class Policies PLEASE READ!
We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class. No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event. This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
