Red Scarf Project Crochet Workshop (FREE!)
Foster Care to Success is a charitable organization that supports youth who have experienced foster care with scholarships and grants for college, care packages, and mentoring to obtain internships and employment readiness skills. The Red Scarf Project invites makers who knit, crochet, and weave to create scarves to include in care packages.
This workshop will introduce you to a variety of crochet stitches that can be used to make scarves. We will each make at least one red scarf (this could mean burgundy, cherry, russet, red stripes with other colors, multicolor mixes that include red, or any version & combination of “red” that you can imagine) to donate to the Red Scarf Project. At the end of class, collected scarves will be mailed to Foster Care to Success, prior to their annual Decemberr 15th deadline.
