Description: In this four-part course, you will be guided through three projects: a scarf, a hat, and a shawl. You will learn how to cast on, how to form the knit and purl stitches, how to increase and decrease, how to work in the round on circular and double pointed needles, how to read a basic pattern, how to read a yarn label, and about fiber content. After completing this course you will be ready to tackle intermediate-level projects such as garments and socks.

Class Dates: Attendance need not be consecutive.
Classes are held on:

Wednesdays 2-4pm, 6-8pm

Thursdays 12-2pm

Fridays 2-4pm

Saturday 1-3pm



Materials:
 All materials must be purchased from The Knitting Tree, L.A. with a 10% discount.

Course Fee: $80 for eight hours of instruction.

Skill Level: Beginner
