Knit a reversible two-color hat in the warm & squishy brioche stitch. You’ll learn a tubular cast-on and brioche decreases for the crown shaping, all the while working with only one color at a time so it’s easy to keep track of which round you’re on. A great project for a hand-dyed variegated and a contrasting solid, or your school or team colors. Also adaptable into a headband.

Saturdays, June 7th & 14th, 10am-12pm

Instructor: Mary Beth Kelso

Materials:

DK weight yarn in 2 colors, one 50g ball each
1 circular needle (16”), US 6 (4mm)
1 set DPNs in same size
4 stitch markers

Tapestry needle

Advanced Beginner – you should be comfortable knitting in the round and working decreases (k2tog, ssk, cdd)
