Amigurumi Frog Workshop
How cute is this Hugo the Frog?! Take your crochet skills to the next level with this amigurumi project. While reinforcing what you already know, we will focus on developing new skills: alternate stitches specifically for amigurumi, consistent tension, attractive joins, wire skeleton, and more.

When:
4 Sundays in January (1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26)
2 hours each week: 10AM-12PM
Fee: $80 for 4 weeks

1.) Pattern: purchase prior to start of class

2.) Yarn: sport weight cotton or cotton blend, approximately 150 m each of green & light yellow for the frog, a very small amount of black & orange for the eyes, small amounts of at least 3 coordinating colors for clothes
*Note: The size of your frog will be determined by the size of the yarn & hook that you choose, so if you'd like to experiment with a different weight & size, please feel free.
3.) Polyfil stuffing
4.) 18 gauge craft wire or jewelry wire: approximately 30 inches
5.) Cloth tape, 1” wide
6.) Optional safety eyes (if you don’t want to crochet the eyes)
Tools:
1.) Crochet hook: 2 mm for sport weight (larger or smaller with other yarn weights)
2.) Yarn needle
3.) Curved sewing needle
4.) Stitch markers
5.) Wire cutters
6.) Chain nose pliers
7.) Tailor’s pins

Intermediate-advanced crochet skills

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class. No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event. This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
