Kitchener Stitch Workshop

$50.00
SKU:

Do you need to do Kitchener Stitch, but

  • You have to open a knitting tutorial everytime...?
  • You are tired of chanting (or messing up) a mantra...?
  • You have to carve out enough time to do the entirety of your Kitchener grafting because, if you put it down you'll have no idea where to pick it up again...?

Then this might be a workshop for you!

Grafting together two live pieces of knitting is the best way to seamless seam together your knitting.  This technique can also be applied to Italian tubular cast off and other bind off techniques that require a tapestry needle.

When: Sunday, October 11th, 12:30-3:30 pm

Instructor: Lindsay Anderson

Fee: $50

Skill level: Advanced Beginner or higher in Knitting

Materials:

  • Bring two swatches (25 sts wide x 8 rows deep) of stockinette knitting in a yarn weight and color that you can clearly see your stitches such as worsted or chunky. Swatches should still have live stitches and should not be bound off. Swatches should be the same color of yarn.
  • Also bring approx 20 yards of a contrasting color yarn in the same weight.
  • Tapestry needle, scissors
