Are you already adept at crochet or knitting, but you have always wanted to learn Tunisian Crochet? Similar to a blend of traditional crochet and knitting, this technique is a unique skill all its own. With this class you will learn to create distinct fabrics with a very different appearance than traditional crocheted or knitted fabrics. You will learn basic stitches and complete a few small projects. Come prepared to learn a lot and have some fun!

When: Three Saturdays - February 7, 14, 28, from 12:30 — 2:30 PM

Prerequisites: Advanced beginner and beyond crochet or knitting skills.
(Note: This is not a class for those who want to learn how to crochet or knit.)

Materials:

 Yarn:
- one skein of worsted weight yarn, any fiber content, for learning and practice
- two skeins (appx. 150 yds each) of worsted weight yarn in coordinating colors,
any fiber content, for hat project
- one skein of bulky weight yarn (appx. 100 yards), any fiber content, for ear
warmer project

Tools:
- Set of Tunisian crochet hooks with cables OR purchase single hooks in store. (size 6.5mm on cable AND 10mm Tunisian hook)

- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Stitch markers

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class.  No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event.  This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
