Back by popular demand, we’re hosting the Allspice Tote bag class again!
This pattern has brought to the table Knitting Tree regulars and virtual strangers, alike. Now come learn to make your own! Made with bulky ribbon or t-shirt yarn, this durable bag looks and feels expensive with a classic diamond motif pattern.
This class will feature guidance for modifying the pattern in quality of life ways that students can transfer to future patterns. We will learn how to make a rounded rectangular base, how to do tapestry crochet so that the bag interior looks almost as immaculate as the exterior, and how to make bag straps that stay secure.

Skill level: Advanced beginner in crochet
When: Saturdays in October 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 10 am to noon.

Materials:
● Yarn – Recommended: Trendsetter Yarns Bandiera
○ 3 cones in MC (darkest color)
○ 1 cone in CC1 (lightest color)
○ 1 cone in CC2 (medium color)
○ 1 cone in CC3 (another medium color)
● Crochet hook - US size H/8 (5.0 mm)
● Notions – Scissors, large darning/tapestry needle, stitch markers, tape measure,
optional: 4 metal rings of 1.5” diameter.

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class.  No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event.  This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
