Summer is a great time for a sleeveless top with beautiful lace details.

Knit an adorable mini lace top and learn the skills you will need to knit a beautiful adult version.  Along the way you will learn about basic lace stitches, reading a chart (really, it’s not hard!), and short-row shaping.

Who is this class for?  Adventurous beginners and beyond are welcome.  You should be comfortable with basic knit and purl stitches, basic increases and decreases, cast-on, and bind-off. 

Yarn - the tiny orange sample was knit with less than one 50 gr ball of light fingering weight yarn; the bigger white sample used less than 100 grams of dk weight yarn.  You can use a heavier weight yarn for the class - DK or worsted - that will make it easier for you to see what you are doing, and your sweater will just be a little bit bigger.

Needles - choose the needle size based on the weight of the yarn that you are using.  You will need a 16” circular needle for most of the top, and then a smaller size needle for the finishing touches (neck, arm edges, bottom hem).
