Continue your crochet adventure with The Remnant Bag, a pattern that puts to use your scrap yarn and old t-shirts. This class will introduce you to a fun technique for repurposing old clothing and all those remnants of yarn you have from other projects. Come prepared to learn some new techniques, have lots of fun, and make the perfect scraptastic handbag or summer beach bag.

When: Three Saturdays: November 7, 14, & 21
Two hours each week, from 10:00AM–12:00 PM

Fee: $65

Prerequisites: Adventurous Beginner crochet skills required *This is not a class for those who want to learn how to crochet

Materials:

• Pattern - The Remnant Bag by Make & Do Crew - purchase prior to class on Etsy
• Yarn: Scraps of any weight and fiber content (best to match weight if using scrap yarn).  If you purchase yarn, instead of using scraps, 100% cotton, worsted weight, is recommended.
• 3-5 adult size t-shirts (or equivalent amount of other scrap fabric)
• Optional: an old leather belt or repurposed straps from a discarded bag
• Tools:
  • Crochet hook, size that matches your yarn weight (4mm recommended for worsted or DK)
  • Tape Measure
  • Yarn Needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch Markers
