This cozy hat utilizes knitted welts/ridges in decreasing lengths to create a fun and playful fashion statement! 

Don’t be intimidated by the ridges!  You just fold the length in half and knit the stitch on your needle together with the purl bump at the beginning of the row--like a folded hem.  This is a great way to use up short lengths of yarn you have sitting around!
