Doubleknitting Colorwork
In this knitting class, we will learn doubleknitting colorwork by beginning the Squid
Scarf by Rianne de Kok. This scarf is a whimsical and stunning project that will introduce the doubleknitting colorwork technique on the gentle slopes of curling and curvaceous tentacles. For this class, you will need approx. 875 of two fingering weight yarns. It is recommended to select two contrasting solid colors, or one solid light color and one vibrant color-shifting yarn.

Skill level: Advanced beginner in knitting. It’s helpful to be able to knit in both the Continental and English knitting styles at the same time.
When: Sundays, June 7, 14, and 28 (not meeting on Father’s Day) 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Materials:
● Yarn – 875 yards each of two fingering weight yarns
● Needles – US 2 (2.75 mm) straight needles or circulars in any cord length for
comfortable knitting
● Crochet hook - US C (2.75 mm)
● Notions – Scissors, darning/tapestry needle, stitch markers, tape measure
