The Color Palette Workshop

$45.00
SKU:
Learn to create original and satisfying color palettes for your fiber projects! We’ll go beyond complementary and tertiary colors to explore how our perceptions of hue, tone, and value affect how colors interact and influence one another. With this deeper understanding, we can work with rather than against the ever-shifting nature of color. You’ll leave class with the skillset you need to enjoy a more confident approach to colorway selection, a process you can depend on for your next project, and a fresh perspective on the role that your own instinct can play in creating new and exciting palettes.

Instructor: Catie Robbins
Catie Robbins is the dyer and owner of indie yarn company, Fiction Fiber. Working exclusively with natural fibers and eco-friendly wool, she creates colorway collections designed to inspire unique color combinations and pairings. Her knitting pattern for an intarsia mini-shawl, Redware, was published in Pom Pom Quarterly, and her stranded colorwork pattern, Sleuth Beret, has inspired many knitters to become girl detectives. Connect with her on Instagram & Ravelry where she goes by @fictionfiber and shop her yarns at www.fictionfiber.com
