Because of that, I wanted to find a pattern to remind me of this classic craft. Enter the Stargazer Vest. This stranded colorwork sweater features high repetition and geometry, which from a distance gives the same visual structure as a wicker basket. Knitters in this class can choose woody\/earthy tones, or other high contrast yarns for a dizzying array of starbursts.\u003cbr\u003eSkills that we will work on in this class are bottom-up construction with a split hem, strandedcolorwork in the round and flat, Italian tubular cast on and bind off, picking up  stitches, and working a decorative edge with crochet.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSkill level:\u003c\/strong\u003e Advanced beginner in knitting and intermediate beginner in crochet. It’s helpful to be able to knit in both the Continental and English knitting styles at the same time.
