Class Description:  Have you wanted to knit a colorwork cardigan, but the thought of cutting into your knitting makes you break out in a cold sweat?  Learn about how to knit a circular-yoke colorwork sweater, and then cut it open into a cardigan - on a cute baby sweater!

Class Dates: 

  • Saturday, March 7th from 10am to noon
  • Saturday, March 14th from 11am to noon (optional)
  • Saturday, March 21st from 10am to noon

Course Fee: $75 for 5 hours of instruction.

Yarn: One skein sport, DK, or worsted weight yarn for the main color, plus smaller amounts of one or more contrasting colors in the same weight.

Needles: 16" circular needle in an appropriate size for your yarn (probably between size 5 - 7)

Techniques covered:  Knitting a top-down circular-yoke sweater.  Stranded colorwork.  Techniques for reinforcing your knitting before cutting a steek. Picking up stitches for button-bands.

Please note this workshop is for adults only (ages 13 and up).

We do require a 72-hour notice for cancellations. No refunds, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event.
