Knitwear Repair and Mending Techniques


Your favorite sweater just got a hole in it - NOW WHAT?!

Mend your troubles away, and rebuild it better than ever!

You'll learn basic darning techniques, and a few visible mending techniques to make your garment as good as new!

When:  Saturday January 29th 3-6pm

Cost:  $45.00 for 3 hours of instruction
What you will need:

Worsted weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors, 1 skein of 6 strand embroidery floss, tapestry needles (1 medium, 1 small), T-pins, scissors, knitted swatches.



Make 2 swatches as follows? With worsted weight yarn, cast on 30 stitches. Knit in Stockinette Stitch(knit 1 row, purl 1 row) for 5".

Please note this workshop is for adults only (ages 13 and up).

Students receive a 10% discount on materials they purchase for their class from The Knitting Tree, L.A.

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations. No refunds, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event.
