Description: Shuttle tatting is a form of lace-making that has been around since the 1800s! It can be used to make jewelry, fun garment edges, doilies, and more. Best of all- you can fit all the materials needed in your pocket!
In this ongoing class, you will learn how to
- Wind your tatting shuttle,
- Create double stitches, picots, tatted loops and chains,
- Change threads, and
- Join loops.
This class is recommended for people who enjoy working with small-scale projects.
Instructor: Eliza Fields
Dates - Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Attendance does not need to be on the same weekday or on consecutive weeks.
Course Fee: $80 for eight hours of instruction. (4 Classes)
Materials: Materials are sold separately from the course fee.
Skill Level: Beginner
