Knitted Colorwork Ornaments with Anne K.

$45.00
SKU:

Learn (or brush up on) stranded two-color knitting, and make some quick, fun holiday decorations or last-minute gifts!  Don't celebrate Christmas or want ornaments?  This is also a great way to make a soft toy for small children.

Date: Saturday, December 7th from 10am-1pm

Course fee: $45 for 3 hours of instruction.

Yarn: Any smooth wool, wool-blend, or acrylic yarn will work. You need at least 2 highly contrasting colors in the same weight. This is a great project for using up small leftover balls of yarn from other projects. Sport, DK or worsted weight is best.

Needles: Appropriate needles for your favorite method for knitting in the round - DPNs (set of 5 needles), 2 circulars ( length 16” or 24” ), or 1 circular needle for Magic Loop (at least 32” long).

Choose a needle size that lets you get a tight density on your stitches – you don’t want the stuffing peeking out through your knitting.

Notions: Stitch markers. Stuffing for your ornament will be provided in class.

Recommended for: Intermediate knitters. You should be comfortable knitting in the round and making basic increases and decreases.

Class Policies PLEASE READ!

We do require a 72-hour advance notice for cancellations to receive credit for another class.  No credit, partial or full, will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the start of the event.  This class is for adults, no children under 13 please.
