NOTE: This class has homework before the first session. To maximize the time spent on learning techniques, you will need to complete the first 14 Rows: cast on, ribbing and "handle" holes (created with yarn-overs) prior to class.
In the first session you will learn the entrelac method to create the starting triangles, and work the first full row of diamonds and learn how to made the I-cord handles; 3 hours
The second session we will meet off-site at a local laundromat to felt our bags. We will discuss shaping and finishing so you can finish shaping your felted bag at home. To allow adequate knitting time, this session will be held 3 weeks after the first session; 3 hours
The third session we will learn how to measure for the lining and how to line the bag WITHOUT a sewing machine! Yes a bit of hand sewing is involved, but it's simple ; 2 hours
These are great project bags, wonderful gifts, and very cute purses!
